Adult ADHD Assessment

We provide adult ADHD assessments within a multidisciplinary team approach. Our assessments recognise that ADHD can impact attention, executive functioning, sensory processing, emotional regulation, and daily living.

Our approach

  • Assessments are led by an Occupational Therapist, focusing on functional skills, daily living, and sensory processing.
  • All assessments are jointly reviewed with a Clinical Psychologist, ensuring psychological, emotional, and behavioural aspects are considered.
  • Where communication or language is a concern, a Speech and Language Therapist also contributes to the review.

This collaborative approach ensures that assessments are comprehensive, neuro-affirming, and clinically robust.

What you can expect

  • Structured assessment process, including interview, questionnaires, and functional observation.
  • Multidisciplinary review with clinical psychology and speech & language therapy.
  • Comprehensive written report, including practical recommendations and strategies.
  • Guidance on next steps, including onward referral if a formal medical diagnosis is required.

Why choose a multidisciplinary OT-led ADHD assessment?

  • Holistic focus on how ADHD traits affect participation in everyday life.
  • Integration of clinical, psychological, and communication perspectives.
  • Clear, personalised recommendations to support independence and wellbeing.
